I Cannot Say Enough Good Things
I cannot say enough good things about Bud’s Plumbing Heating & Air, and especially about our technician, Cody Perry.
What started as what looked like a simple backup turned into a complete nightmare. I first called my home warranty company, and the plumber they sent out asked where my cleanout was. I told him I didn’t know, and his response was basically, “Call me back when you find it.” That led to us searching everywhere for it (with no luck) and calling — I’m not exaggerating — about 15 other plumbers. We got quotes ranging anywhere from $3,000 to $30,000 to install a new cleanout because no one believed we had one.
Then Cody showed up.
He asked the same question: “Where’s your cleanout?” We told him we didn’t know. But instead of shutting the door on us, he said, “Okay, we have other options.” He was also the only plumber willing to try clearing the line from the toilet. And guess what? That’s when we discovered we DID have a cleanout — it had just been buried by the previous owners.
When he attempted to clear the line from the other toilet, the tool got caught in the cleanout lid — which just so happened to be buried right under where I was standing… mid-panic attack. Cody immediately jumped into action, ran outside, helped dig up the cleanout, and then snaked the line properly. That’s when we discovered a serious root intrusion in the pipe.
He cleared it and told us honestly that we’d probably need to jet it later. A couple months went by — and he was right. He came back, hydro-jetted the line, and we have had a clear system ever since.
What seemed like a complicated, stressful mess never felt impossible with Cody there. He didn’t upsell us. He didn’t push unnecessary work. He didn’t walk away when it wasn’t obvious. He stuck with it.
Thank you, Cody, for your persistence, integrity, and hard work — and for helping us find our buried cleanout instead of convincing us to install a brand-new one we didn’t actually need.
If you want someone who will actually solve the problem instead of just quoting the most expensive option, call Bud’s — and ask for Cody.

I would highly recommend Bud’s Plumbing
Keith was very knowledgeable and informative. He is very professional and worked to solve our issue. Keith didn’t just show up and clear our sewer; he explained the pros and cons of replacing our sewer line. I would highly recommend Bud’s Plumbing, especially if the whole company is represented by employees like Keith.

Bud's Plumbing was great to work with.
Bud's Plumbing was great to work with. They were prompt, communicative, and had excellent problem solving. Kenny arrived on time, wasn't able to initially find the clean out. He problem solved and was able to still scope the sewer line, and once he located the clean out, marked it for future reference. The dispatcher and customer team was prompt with the report. Would use again!

Common Questions
What causes sewer line damage?
Sewer lines can be damaged by tree roots, grease buildup, ground shifts, age, or blockages. Regular maintenance and inspections can help identify potential problems before they cause significant damage.
Is sewer repair covered by homeowner's insurance?
Coverage depends on your policy. Some policies may cover sewer repairs resulting from sudden or accidental damage, but not gradual wear and tear. It's best to check with your insurance provider for details.
Can sewer lines be repaired without digging?
Yes, trenchless sewer repair methods like pipe bursting or pipe relining can fix your sewer lines without extensive digging. These methods are often quicker and less disruptive than traditional excavation.
What should I do during a sewer backup?
If a sewer backup occurs, avoid using water fixtures and call a plumber immediately. It's important not to attempt to fix the problem yourself as it can lead to further complications.
